Thando Dlomo

Thando Dlomo

Thando Dlomo is a multimedia journalist, actor, and Emmy Award winning producer. She appeared in Sony’s historical drama, The Woman King, in her acting debut, followed by the Antoine Fuqua produced King Shaka for CBS and Starz. Thando’s experience as a graduate of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in her native South Africa is featured in the documentary Oprah’s Daughters. She also studied Theater and Media Studies at Johnson C. Smith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and received her Master of Science in Journalism at the University of Southern California. Thando attributes education as the ultimate equalizer and is also an advocate for mental health. She is a native of Benoni, South Africa, and now lives in Los Angeles, California.
